Victoria Cliff has 48 years of experience... and it shows.

Victoria Cliff is one of the most versatile Trainer/Instructors you will ever meet.

The base of her training in any discipline is Dressage. This way the horse understands what it is being told and has confidence that he can trust the rider. This makes training faster with more reliable results. The horse becomes better balanced and can handle any discipline.

Vicki started riding at the age of 2 yrs. She actually rode 24 mile, keeping up with her big sister. However, the next day she jumped out of bed and fell flat on her face screaming, "Mommy, Mommy, my legs are broken". She never stopped riding from that day on and rarely gets sore.

She was fortunate to grow up around "real cowboys" in Wyoming, Colorado, South Dakota and California. They taught her how a horse thinks and how to get along with them. This was an invaluable education which started her training horses professionally at 16 years old.

When she moved to Novato CA. she apprenticed with a Souix Indian trainer named Beve Franklyn. He had spent several years at the Spanish Riding School in Vienna on an Indian Grant as a young man. He taught me the "Classical" techniques as well as how to fix problems created from non-classical methods.

Now as a resident of Nevada for 38 years, she has trained horses, instructed children and adults at Equest Training Center for numerous disciplines, as well as just safe trail riding. Keeping people safe on horses has always been her main goal.

Vicki Has been awarded the United States Dressage Federation Bronze and Silver Medals. She instructs beginners through advanced riders on their horses or her school horses. She also offers training lessons where you train your horse under her supervision.
